The old library space is the new Common Room and offers more than enough space to set up tables, easels and art supplies. First come gets the space. This time is set aside for artists to work on their own in a supportive atmosphere with other artists. Occasionally there may be short tips or demonstrations from other artists or brief art history discussions. No sign-up necessary this is a drop-in, leave when you wish opportunity.

Kids will explore art, the environment, literature and heritage with local professionals at our lovely interactive complex which includes the Agnes Jamieson Gallery, Minden Hills Museum and R.D. Lawrence Place. There's something in store for the Culture Vulture in every kid!

There is nothing more potentially helpful to artistic growth and development than criticism, but as most artists know, criticism in the arts is far from perfect and not always particularly rational, fair or constructive. This 3½ hour workshop provides participants with concrete strategies, steps, insights and tips for getting the most out of valid and constructive criticism and for how to prevent problematic criticism from being taken to heart. Also covered is how to evaluate your own work. Partnering with the Arts Council ~ Haliburton Highlands .
