The Minden Hills Museum mission is to facilitate the preservation and understanding of our local heritage.

Operating since 1984, the museum Consists of seven heritage buildings set on the grounds of the Centre. Stroll through the old school house, Bowron house, blacksmith shop, the Wee Kirk. barns and exhibit building or put your friend in the stocks and pillories!

Minden's heritage derives from logging and mining as well as some agriculture. The many artifacts and videos held at the museum capture this past. Take part in this quaint collection and experience what life was like before. Participate in events depicting a pioneer's lifestyle in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands.
