Great Green Garage Sale

The Great Green Garage Sale event is a fundraiser to develop the archive room at R.D. Lawrence Place. The goal is to raise money to build storage units for this climate controlled area and enhance it with a computer cataloguing program to catalog items donated by Sharon Lawrence.

If you would like to have an item appraised by Calders Antique, we are looking for a donation and you need to book an appointment time by calling 286-2298.

There will be healthy green eating at the Dominion's food booth.

Summertime Silent Auction 

A unique part of the R.D. Lawrence Great Green Garage Sale Celebration is the Summertime Silent Auction. Beginning August 11, 2010 and running until the day of the Great Green Garage Sale on September 11, 2010, at 1pm, the Silent Auction is a unique and important component of R.D. Lawrence Place fundraising. 

The auction is set up in the foyer of R.D. Lawrence Place. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have a wide variety of items up for auction this year. The numerous donations range from fine art to an iPod. There are photographs, jewelry, handmade clothing and much more to choose from!

Proceeds from the Summertime Silent Auction go towards developing the archive room at R.D. Lawrence Place. The goal is to raise money to install climate controls, archive equipment supplies and pay for the cataloguing and protection of historic items donated by Sharon Lawrence. 

Buy or Bid
The unique part about the auction is our Buy Now option! If you find that there is an item up for auction that you do not wish to compete for, you have to option of purchasing that item on the spot. Each item is marked with a Buy Now price, so that if you find something you can't leave without, it's yours without fear of being outbid!
