Call and Echo - Presentation by Robyn Thomas and Wendy Oke
May 1   1pm - 4pm
The call to write and create art that three women, Alma Rumball (now deceased), Wendy Oke and Robyn Thomas, received and the amazing echo of the same Spirit illustrated and interwoven in their work and experiences goes beyond coincidence. Alma, a clairvoyant, visionary recluse in Huntsville had a vision when she was in her 50’s and began to automatically draw without conscious planning. The resulting work has been shown by Wendy worldwide for over 37 years which in turn inspired Wendy’s work as a writer, artist and a photographer. Robyn’s writing and photography is a reflection of her own call to Spirit from Mother Nature. Since discovering Alma’s work, Robyn and Wendy have found a weaving back and forth from Robyn’s photos to Alma’s imagery. Come and see for yourself this fascinating Call and Echo. To read more including the artist biographies please click here.  To see the poster please click here.
