Attention parents and grandparents! Minden Hills Cultural Centre has it all for kids this March Break. Join ½ day programs, full day programs or get involved for the whole week. Kids will explore art, the environment, literature and heritage with local professionals at our lovely interactive complex which includes the Agnes Jamieson Gallery, Minden Hills Museum and R.D. Lawrence Place. There's something in store for the Culture Vulture in every kid!

Minden Ghost Walks
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:00 pm; July and August (depending on weather)
Rendevous at Minden Hills Cultural Centre
Costumed narrators will tell carefully researched and crafted stories about local history and mythology of a spooky nature in scheduled walks along Main Street and the River Walk in Minden. The stories are real, wondrous, and fill the night with those who have gone before! Check website for details.
The Golden Slipper

Under the Big Top
The Golden Slipper is an original play by Michael Fay produced by local community theatre group, the Conjurors of County Town. The play looks at the world of 1936 through the eyes of two young couples, trying to make sense of the tumultuous times. Featuring dramatic action and lively period music, the turning point occurs at a nightclub in the Highlands, where the couples decide to go to Spain to stop the spread of fascism. The Minden Fringe is celebrating the 3rd season of theatrical performances, The Fringe features one act plays, story telling, monologues, clowning performances, and other fare from the creative community in the Highlands. Playing to full houses the first two seasons, the Fringe expands to a second venue in 2010. The Wintergreen venue features an ala carte dinner before the show. Check website for details.
Minden Hills Festival of Trees – A Village Christmas
